Would some Red-Eyed Tree Frogs or a single be able to live in one of those Turtle/Fish tanks and Pros and Cons?
I’ve made a decision on the lizards i’ve want for those who read my last 3 questions i’ve posted not too long ago and already know what i’ll be sticking with, but I’m wondering if Red-Eyed Tree Frogs have to live in tall tanks, can they live in those turtle/fish tanks that are made for … Continue reading
How do I properly water the garden?
Have a few annual and perennial herbs in the garden. Have been using a hose with a nozzle to water them, but I can tell they didn’t like that at all, as the spray was too much, and too much water got on the leaves. Now using a misting system that distributes water evenly, and … Continue reading
Does anyone ever let their garden dry out a little bit?

However, since the soil is so rich, it never really completely "dries" out. Let the garden go without watering for a day and it’s still kinda damp even with … Continue reading

I am looking for ideas for my backyard. I am thinkingtree limbs cemented into the ground with branches for cross members and bamboo or palm fronds for the top. Then add climbing plants to overgrow the structure. Also plan to add a misting system and outdoor speakers.

Should I let my garden dry out a little bit like someone suggested?
Have a lot of random plants in the garden. Lots of herbs too. Well, keeping it moist with a misting system. I stick my finger in the soil to see how wet/dry it is. Usually it’s just right, maybe a little on the moist side, but never dry. Someone said, hey you should let it … Continue reading
What is the best humidification system for my herp?
Aside from a spray bottle, that is. I’m often away from home for long periods so I can’t keep it up regularly enough. I have a chinese box turtle (subtropical species) in a very large custom-built enclosure. I don’t even know gallons – it’s 30" H x 60" L x 24" W. It’s made of … Continue reading
