My fiberglass pool is not circulating. The skimmer nor the vac. suction. What can be the problem?
It has a fairly new pump & filter. filter reads 35 psi, only 2/4 eyeballs are returning water, snake was run through vac. line & no signs of blockage. Skimmer basket is clean but still no suction. Pool is green and lots of built up dirt at the bottom. I don’t know what else to … Continue reading
Arizona mist stainless model 30002 misters?
Anyone know if this system must use the high pressure pump? Or can it be used on a line with 70 psi without the pump?
Why isn't my swimming pool working?
my pool is 4 years old- in ground- salt. we swam last summer and water started looking a tad cloudy, i basically never checked the water balance. well about 4 months ago, after a filter cleaning i noticed that the water pressure was still high (at the filter) and my vacuum wasn’t moving at all. … Continue reading
In-pond propane fire feature?
I’m a mechanical engineer and want to add a very unique flare to my back patio. I was trying to decide between a pond and a propane fire feature (in a rock bed) when I was struck by an idea…could I put a propane burner of some sort under the water in a pond and … Continue reading

What's the best water pump to use for a portable mist machine?
Every year my family spends a week on a house boat at Lake Powell where it can get extremely hot in the day time. I’d like to build a mist system using pvc pipes and mist spray heads to help cool us down. I’m not sure what kind of water pump to buy? I’ve looked … Continue reading
Why would my Hayward Pool Vac suddenly cause a significant reduction in filtration PSI?
PSI through my pool filtration system has suddenly dropped significantly from 10-15 PSI to less than 5 PSI when my Hayward Pool Vac is attached. I believe the Vac does typically reduce PSI slightly, in the 10 PSI range, but not to the extreme it is now. This problem started only over the last couple … Continue reading
Why is my pool pump pressure so high?
My pool pump pressure seems unreasonably high. The pressure gauge on the filter indicates about 22 psi normally and 28 psi when running the solar. I have a 4.9 sq foot sand filter. The pressure doesn’t change by more than one psi after backwashing. On the pressure side of the pump the water moves to … Continue reading
